Keke is a ceramic artist majoring in modern design. For her passion in ceramics, she went to the Department of Ceramics, Academy of Arts and Design, Tsinghua University for further study. Ever since, she has been indulging in the pleasure of making potteries. From the beginning, she has been aiming at “learning from tradition, respecting nature, making mainly for daily use and forming its own characteristics”. While so enjoying herself, she hopes the potteries she makes can also entertain others. As she made progress in the skills, she set up the Keke Ceramic Studio and spent her time there making potteries as gifts for relatives and friends. For years, although the potteries have been made mainly for everyday use, such as tea drinking, flower arranging, incense burning, or as the study supplies, some of them are worthy to be enjoyed, collected and cherished.
